Little Red Ranch
I recently purchased a "little red ranch" home in Pennsylvania. The house was abandoned for some time and basically everything needed gutted. The kitchen was a disaster, the bathroom was bright pink and an eyesore. It was in desperate need of some TLC to bring it back to the lovely home it could be.
A few months have gone by and I've started fixing it up all DYI on the inside. As I came to try and find ways to update my 1950 ranch, I couldn't find a lot out there. Yes, we see people fixing up cottages, victorian and craftsman homes. But what about the ranches? Have they been forgotten? Why is it so hard to find "ways to update the gold fireplace" "how to re-do my kitchen on a budget for my ranch" "what colors will compliment my 1950's red brick home". Nothing.
So here I sit with an idea that maybe I can start a movement and be a place where people with the same problem as I had can come for ideas. Ideas for redoing their small ranch bathroom and kitchen. Ideas for updating their huge finished basements. Ideas for what color palettes will accent the red brick ranch.
I hope you will join me on this journey and I hope that I can help people in the same predicament that I was in. If I can offer a little help, then it's all worth it.
Come and enjoy this journey with me!
